Teaching pole fitness is unlike other fitness niche. Pole has its own language, its own special considerations, and its own way to break down moves. It is important for teachers understand biomechanics, momentum and body placement when teaching to others. This program is designed to put all the foundations together along with beginner moves to allow the Instructor to feel confident in demonstrating, explaining and troubleshooting. Whether you are looking to teach or just to up your skill this is a great way to learn.
Our training methods are unlike most and have come from a variety of qualified fitness professionals in order to try to facilitate a safe and technique based approach to Instructor training. Our focus is to focus on technique to try eliminate the most common injuries. Current students and those trained with this method have shown increased strength.

Prior to attending students should have :
An existing fitness training, group training certificate or a passing grade of fitness theory (Ex. AFLCA), OR who have a degree in Kinesiology, or likewise.
Receive 14 hours of instruction to learn the moves, as well as appropriate methods for teaching, breaking the moves down, and troubleshooting any issues with each move.
Biomechanics, muscles, momentum and fundamentals.
A complete study and reference manual detailing all the pole, floor and dance moves learned.
Detailed information on how the muscles are getting a workout from each move.
Learn safety and injury prevention methods of conducting a class.
Practical hands on to demonstrate what you have learned.
Written test demonstrating your knowledge.
Certificate of completion.

Looking to teach with us?
Those wishing to teach with us, upon completion of the 16 hours of training you may inquire about our instructor practical training. Practical training includes 10 hours of in class experience (paid as a student in the beginner levels) 10-16 hours per level of teacher training and of 10 hours of practice teaching. Time frame of 3 months to complete the minimum 30 hours. (Please note each level have additional teacher training, and must be completed prior to teaching that particular level). Interested Instructors must provide all certifications, CPR, and resume outlining experience.

Whether you are an Instructor or a student spotting is important for pole safety. We are offering an 8 hour workshop offering students and instructors alike the opportunity to learn how to safely spot.
We will take through beginner to intermediate moves. This is a hands on workshop. You will also learn safe ways out of moves if you are on your own.
You will leave feeling confident in spotting both yourself and others.
